Chris Yip
Cinema had the ability to let me escape from reality, explore worlds and fantasies that are created from a fragment of our imaginations. It helped me find who I am, I want to do the same for others.
I'm a passionate filmmaker who focuses mainly on directing, screenwriting, and photography and is always excited to work and collaborate on new and original projects! With an extroverted personality, I obtain strong communication skills and have a strong work ethic in delivering the best quality possible.
WORK EXPERIENCE
T-ONE IMAGE
(2019-till date)
Covered multiple weddings, discussed with clients about their photo video requirements, capturing memories for newly wedded couples. Worked under intense time constraints as a wedding videographer and same day editor. Well organised within post-production, hitting deadlines.
World Vision Australia
(2018-2019)
Worked as a fundraising promoter. Gained great communications skills as we had to talk to the general public to gain sponsorships for children in third world countries. Took action and made a difference in the lives of children affected by poverty.
Had a consisted DPH and was always punctual.
Launch Films Productions
(2018)
Covered multiple weddings, discussed with clients about their photo requirements related to wedding, planned and arranged still-life objects scenes, props for on location photography, shot beautiful pictures of pre wedding activities, rehearsals, wedding event, and newly wedded couple. Worked under time constraints.
Live Well Health Clubs
(2018)
Managed social media accounts, creating content, utilising industry standard software like Adobe Suites. Developed skills in graphic design and photography. Worked under extreme time constraints, consistent to deliver corporate expectations and gained an eye for detail.
Piano and Cello Teacher
(2016-2018)
Organised a manageable number of tasks for the duration of each lesson, instructed students ranging from 3 to 24 years of age, prepared students for their HSC and recitals(acting as a teacher and accompanist),determined the progress of the students, by assigning them with individual appropriated tasks to practice.
